Demigender is a gender identity that involves feeling a partial, but not a full, connection to a particular gender identity or just to the concept of gender. Demigender people often identify as non-binary.
Demigender is not necessarily a partial connection to gender (like male or female) and a partial connection to agender, instead it is more commonly referred to as a partial connection to a third gender that possibly can’t be described by the term agender or is just not the absence of a gender. Demigender people may feel that partial connection is a gender, but it cannot necessarily be described.
Examples of demigender identities include demigirl, and demiboy, and demiandrogyne.
