Genderstatic, also known as kymenian, or genderstill, is a gender identity in which one's gender(s) are completely static, and are not fluid or fluctuating.
Genderstatic describes a person whose gender is constant and unchanging. It is the opposite of genderfluid. It is not related to staticgender, which is a xenogender.
History[]
The terms genderstatic and genderstill were created by anonymous user on or before November 30, 2016 through the Tumblr blog bigendering.[1][2] The term kymenian was coined by Wordpress user twilightvelvet on May 28, 2018.[3]
Flags[]
The kymenian/genderstill flag was created by Tumblr user beyond-mogai-pride-flags on June 4, 2018.[4][5] An alternate flag was created by anthropomimous on ore before June 11, 2018.[6][7]
