Genderfae (also known as Genderdoe or Genderthil) is a form of genderfluidity that does not encompass man-aligned, miaspec genders, or anything similar. Genderfae individuals tend not to feel mingenders unless said gender happens to also be woman-aligned too (like azurgirl for example). Genderfae is under the genderfaer umbrella.
Some subsets of genderfae are venufluid, lilafluid, liliumgender, genderlunet and genderthell.
History[]
The term was supposedly coined anonymously in 2014 but the flag was designed by the user superpopcorn101 and Pride-Flags on Deviantart on January 9th, 2017.[1] The term genderdoe was a proposed alternative name by Instagram user, en.bees. The user suggested the original name, genderfae, was offensive to pagans and should be changed (although, it was in fact, not offensive).[2]
On July 11th 2018, nicprice127 made a version of the genderfae flag with its own symbol on it.[3]
On December 29th, 2021, transfeminine made an alternative genderfae flag.[4]
