Genderfae, also known as Genderdoe or Genderthil, is an idingender identity and form of genderfluidity in which one's gender does not encompass masculine, man-aligned, miaspec, or any genders similar to these. Genderfae individuals tend not to feel mingenders unless said gender happens to also be woman-aligned too (such as azurgirl, for example). Genderfae is under the genderfaer umbrella.

Some subsets of genderfae include venufluid, lilafluid, liliumgender, genderlunet, genderthell, and faeflux. Its masculine counterpart is genderfaun, while the neutral counterpart is genderflor; the static counterpart is pangenderfae.

History & Controversy[]

The term 'genderfae' was supposedly coined anonymously in 2014 using the now-defunct blog mogai-archive.[4]

The term 'genderdoe' is a proposed alternative name by Instagram user en.bees. The user suggested that the original name, genderfae, was offensive to many cultures and should be changed.[3] This is still a topic of some debate today, and some choose to use the term 'genderdoe' or 'genderthil' in place of its original name to avoid controversy, offense, and/or believed appropriation. However, many people from these cultures themselves also support the gender being named genderfae and don't find it offensive.
